Website under construction...

Hi! I am Wen, an artist, an educator and a researcher.

I founded Pi Art and Seedling Books, where I designed interdisciplinary, curiosity-driven art curricula for young learners in a constructionist approach. I am good at community building and engaging children online. During the pandemic, our program reached over 15,000 participants. I developed Museum Class curriculum and taught at Harvard Art Museum and Museum of Fine Arts Boston. I collaborated with Peabody Essex Museum, deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum, and Concord Academy on art and STEAM projects.

Since 2023, I have been developing AI and Creativity research and art educational tools in collaboration with Dr. Safinah Ali, and led an AI and Art workshop at the MIT Media Lab.

As an artist, my multimedia artworks have been exhibited nationally and internationally, such as de Young Museum and the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco, Boston Center for the Arts, and Gallery Madison Park in New York. I have received grants from Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, Massachusetts Cultural Council, and Circle Foundation for the Arts in France. I have given talks at China Design Museum, Boston University, and Boston Urban Forum. My commissioned works include projects for City of Boston, City of Somerville, and Gemtek Ltd. in Taiwan.

In my earlier career, I worked as a creative consultant, providing live-marketing solutions for Coca-Cola, Bayer, and Bosch. In my spare time, I study and write about art at museums and row on a dragon boat team on the Charles River.
